What does managed Meta advertising cost?
Put the whole budget on the page.
A managed Facebook and Instagram campaign has at least two separate costs: the agency’s work and the media bought through your ad account. LYM’s published monthly management packages are £950, £1,750 and £3,250, plus your media spend. Production, tracking repairs or a new landing page may add costs outside the package. Compare the complete scope before comparing the headline fee.
What are you actually paying for?
| Budget component | What it covers | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Management | Planning, campaign management, monitoring and the reporting within your agreed scope. | The account, brand and offer covered; who makes decisions and how changes are agreed. |
| Media | The advertising budget spent through your own ad account. | The planned amount, period and approval process. It is separate from LYM’s fee. |
| Creative | Images, copy or finished video within the selected allowance. | Whether you supply usable material, what counts as an asset and which revisions are included. |
| Additional work | Anything separately scoped, such as tracking repairs, a new landing page or complex integrations. | The deliverable and price before it begins, including production extras where relevant. |
An advertising fee is not the same as the cost of acquiring a customer. The latter depends on what you include in the calculation, how many customers actually buy and which campaign they are attributed to. Keep the budget and the outcome measure separate.
LYM’s three published packages
| Package | Monthly LYM fee | Creative allowance |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze | £950 + media | Four image-led assets from your supplied imagery. |
| Silver | £1,750 + media | Six creative assets from supplied footage or imagery. |
| Gold | £3,250 + media | Six finished videos and one shoot of up to five hours, including setup. These videos replace Silver’s asset allowance. |
The published scope covers one brand, one ad account and one primary offer. It includes one consolidated revision round per batch. Gold’s travel, talent, extra crew, location fees and usage rights are separately scoped. Tracking repairs, new landing pages and complex integrations are also quoted separately. The packages are monthly rolling with 30 days’ notice.
These are LYM’s fees, not an estimate of the UK agency market. Read the current package scope and exclusions before choosing; an article summary does not replace the agreed brief.
Three budget examples, with no results promised
The media amounts below are hypothetical arithmetic examples. They are not recommended budgets, minimum spends or predictions of enquiries. Each example adds only the stated LYM fee and chosen media amount; it does not estimate separately quoted work or your other business costs.
| Example | LYM fee | Illustrative media | Fee + media |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze example | £950 | £1,000 | £1,950 |
| Silver example | £1,750 | £1,500 | £3,250 |
| Gold example | £3,250 | £2,000 | £5,250 |
A more expensive creative package is not automatically the right choice for a larger media budget. Start with the material you have, the campaign’s purpose and the work required. If you already have usable footage, supplied-material production and a new shoot are different decisions.
How should you decide the media budget?
Start with your offer, the contribution from a sale and your capacity to follow up. Then agree what the campaign needs to learn, over which period, and which decisions the available budget can support. A business with a long sales cycle needs a different evaluation window from one taking an immediate booking.
For a simple illustration, £200 contribution per new customer and a 20% enquiry-to-customer rate would leave £40 per enquiry before advertising, management, overheads or a profit allowance. That is £200 × 0.20, not a recommended target CPL. Both inputs are assumptions until the business has evidence for them. A target must leave room for the costs and profit the owner needs.
The ad-economics calculator helps work through your own figures. Read its exclusions: a return after ad costs is not automatically net profit. For lead generation, also read how to compare qualified-lead costs.
Five questions to settle before launch
- What counts as success? Name the commercial outcome and the earlier signals you can measure honestly.
- Who follows up? Agree who records contact, qualification and sale outcomes.
- What material is ready? Check imagery, footage, permissions, offer details and approvals before scheduling production.
- What needs repairing? Check the enquiry path, account access and measurement before assuming setup is included.
- What would change the plan? Agree when to review poor fit, missing data or an offer that is not converting.
Sources and scope
Package figures and boundaries were checked against LYM’s marketing offer on 15 October 2026. The worked examples are invented for explanation. They are not client results, forecasts or a market-price survey.
